30th June 2024: BWS 11+ registration closes
1st September 2024: Wiltshire County Council opens secondary school applications and SWGS 11+ registration closes
14th September 2024: SWGS familiarisation test
21st September 2024: SWGS 11+ exam
28th September 2024: BWS 11+ exam
11th October 2024: parents receive SWGS exam results
Mid-October 2024: parents receive BWS exam results
31st October 2024: secondary school common application deadline
3rd March 2025: 11 plus results day

What is the Wiltshire 11 plus mark mark?
Whilst there is no Wiltshire 11 plus pass mark, the Wiltshire 11 plus results day is still important!
11 plus applicants with the highest qualifying scores are offered Wiltshire grammar school places. This 11 plus placement system means that the Wiltshire pass mark varies from year to year. It also varies across Wiltshire’s grammar schools.

How to know if your child is on track to pass?
We advise that Wiltshire 11 plus pupils who are consistently scoring around the 80 to 85% mark (or higher!) will pass the Wiltshire grammar school 11 plus exam.
