For each topic, we’ve created three tests:

ISEB PRETEST Level 1 – 20 questions. These are relatively simple questions to help familiarise your child with the key concepts of each question type. Depending on the school you are targeting, your child should aim to score 80-90%+ in Level 1 tests.

ISEB Pre-Test Level 2 – 20 questions. These are more challenging questions that require a little more thought and technique. Depending on the school you are targeting, your child should aim to score 70-80%+ in Level 2 tests.

ISEB PRETEST Level 3

20 questions.
These are advanced questions that represent the upper level of difficulty on the adaptive scale. Depending on the school you are targeting, your child should aim to score 60-70%+ in Level 3 tests.

Click the green button at the top of this page to view all the topics in detail.

Detailed explanations are provided for every single question so your child can learn and improve.

Each test is timed at the pace your child will need to match to do well in the actual exam.

The tests are presented via an interface that uses exactly the same layout and design as the actual exam.

Here we explain the differences between our ISEB practice test partner’s ISEB test practice options: English ISEB practice papers; Maths ISEB practice papers; full ISEB test practice packs; and practice for ISEB exam skills.

Full ISEB Practice Tests vs ISEB Skill Practice Tests

Full Practice Tests cover all the modules you can expect to appear on your child’s exam, providing a comprehensive simulation of the actual test. You can think of them effectively as online mock exams.

It’s an excellent way for your child to get a feel for the entire exam. By taking a Full Practice Test, your child can:

  • Experience a mock test environment at home.
  • Identify their overall strengths and weaknesses.
  • Gain confidence in managing timings and stamina

ISEB Skill Practice Tests

Once you’ve worked through some of our Full Practice Tests, you may notice that your child finds specific topics or subjects harder than others.

This is where Skill Practice tests come in handy.

They are designed to focus on one specific module or topic that can appear in a particular test. They are often broken down into shorter, timed sections that can be completed individually.

These are perfect for your child to concentrate on areas they find challenging without having to complete a full test. The benefits include:

  • Concentrated practice on difficult topics.
  • Efficient use of study time by targeting weaker areas.
  • Improved skills in particular modules before re-attempting a full practice test.

Can you provide some examples of how to use Full Practice Tests and Skill Practice Tests?

By integrating both types of practice into your child’s study routine, you can build a solid foundation and address any weak spots effectively.
